CMCFA 2002 Convention

The 2002 Mid-Atlantic Region 16th Annual Convention was held at the Clarion Resort Fountainebleau Hotel in Ocean City, MD from February 1st to 3rd 2002.

Come join us at the Clarion, a modern oceanfront conference center, for a memorable and informative weekend. Have fun, learn and meet many other fabricators eager to share their experiences with you. The agenda is geared for newcomers as well as seasoned veterans. The three days will include:

Friday, February 1, 2002 at 1:00 pm. Join Tom Graham in a hands-on class to learn how using the computer can make your business more efficient! Topics will include keeping track of your business, payroll management, estimating, developing customer base and income and expense tracking.

Following the computer training take the opportunity to network with other canvas business owners and co-workers in a round table discussion to share business stories and experiences.

Friday evening have fun at a miniature golf event with suppliers and fabricators.

Top off the evening with a scrumptious dinner buffet. Enjoy a relaxing meal with old friends and new. Entertainment will follow provided by the suppliers.

Saturday, February 2, 2002 beginning at 9:00am. Workshops and demonstrations – Fabrication projects (more details to come)

Market Day – Your favorite suppliers with all the latest fabric, hardware and equipment to keep you on the leading edge.

A few details remain to be finalized and costs will be slightly higher than last year. The full package – including 2 nights lodging, five meals, one reception is $365 single and $475 per couple. Partial rates will be available.
