Thanks to the generous donation from the Custom
Marine Canvas Training Workshop, we now have a complete DVD inventory of their
training tapes. If you are new to the canvas trade, these are a “must see”. (And
for those of you who have been in the business for a while, it’s a nice way to
refresh your memory if you have not done a particular project in a while.)
Topics covered are: Sewing Machine Maintenance and Repair, Tools of the trade,
Roll-Up Smile with Screen, Basic Cockpit cover and Over the Windshield Cockpit
Cover, Convertible Top, Side and Aft curtains, Frame bending, Basic Boat
cushions, Sewing Techniques and Tips , and General Business Practices.
